Melissa Flores


As a senior account manager, she worked with clients ranging from theme parks to mom-and-pop businesses helping launch new products, grand openings, sponsorships, online campaigns, and events. It was a logical progression with her degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Central Florida. Communication is essential, along with marketing, sales, negotiating, consulting, and creativity in building relationships with different people and personalities. She can serve buyers and sellers’ interests with her expertise in marketing, strategizing, pricing, copywriting, social media, and as a certified digital media consultant.

Melissa found her passion for real estate years ago, being around her grandfather, a prominent commercial investor in Miami. Now, as an investor and landlord herself, she can pass on her knowledge and experiences to her sellers and buyers. Renovating a short-sale property also gave her key hands-on knowledge of such practicalities, including flooring, drywall, electrical, painting, plumbing, and more, as well as an understanding of what those things can mean to a sale or purchase. Thus, she can offer ideas and an informed and honest opinion with savviness and integrity, connecting with people and helping them achieve their goals. With an emphasis on serving sellers, she knows exactly what it takes to get them prepared before listing their home. Melissa works with buyers, sellers, and investors with resale, new construction, vacant land, and more — but nothing is more fulfilling to her than handing over the keys to first-time homebuyers. Melissa is part of the power duo, Team Soldlando, with her real estate partner, Amanda Salazar.

Outside of real estate, Melissa has two sons who keep her on her toes. She likes to laugh and have fun and enjoys music, working out, dancing, sports, comedy, biking trails, cooking, and trying new restaurants
