Downtown Orlando thrives on blending charm with sophistication. While feeding the swans and visiting the library is fun, it also doesn’t hurt to be able to walk (or pedi-cab) home after a weeknight out at the bars, restaurants, or art galleries.
Literally the hub for Central Florida’s art and culture hotspots, you will be able to be near Modern Art, Classical Music or Historical Exhibits. Also, hungry residents can literally walk downstairs and check out the Eola Farmers Market on Sundays or take their pick of gourmet brunch on a brick-lined street in quaint Thornton Park. Just south of Downtown Orlando, Delaney Park residents can take their lunch break and relax by the newly rebuilt fountain.
Hundreds of apartments and single-family residences are sprinkled throughout Downtown Orlando. Condos with spectacular balcony views are also available.
Feeling guilty from the too many martinis last night? Hit up one of the community recreation centers or bike paths to get back in shape.
Also, near the Amway Arena, you are a just a few blocks away from live entertainment from some of the best artists in the country, and sporting events like the Orlando Magic. Also, the Lynx Transportation makes it easy to get around if you don’t feel like breaking a sweat or driving. If public transportation is not your thing, you can always sport a segway people-mover which seems to be gaining popularity in the streets of Downtown Orlando.
