Winter Park

Winter Park has more history and more parks than virtually any other city in Florida, and its entire aura is the epitome of “high class.”

On weekends, enjoy sidewalk art festivals, window shop on Park Ave. and peruse the best farmer market or museum. While Winter Park has one of the strongest historical roots in all of Central FL, colleges like Rollins and Full Sail have brought new, young (and artistic) blood into the town.

Winter Park has close-knit suburban neighborhoods, lakes and a boat launch and is truly an ideal place to grow a family. Schools like Dommerich Elementary, Maitland Middle School and Winter Park High School consistently have been voted best in the state,. You will see often see generations of families reside nearby each other.

If you take a walk anywhere in Winter Park, from behind Rollins or near Lakemont and the Winter Park YMCA, you will notice every single home is completely different (except for the Spanish Moss draped over trees). Mansions housing Partridge Family types next to a cozy split-level fit for newlyweds.

Many residents embrace the city roots and partake in the tours of historic locations like the Winter Park Historical Museum Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art (famous for the largest collection of Tiffany glass on Earth), the Temple Grove, the Edward Hill Brewer House and All Saints Episcopal Church.

Diverse homes in both old developments and new neighborhoods, but an incredible community of people. There are so many local events that you simply don’t have an excuse to meander outside and meet neighbors of nearby communities during the weekends!
